Trial Periods
Certain instruments may be offered with a trial (approval) period. Trial eligibility, duration, and conditions will be clearly stated at the time of sale.
Unless otherwise specified:
- Trial period is 7 calendar days from delivery
- Customer is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs
- Instrument must be returned in original condition
The instrument must be fully insured for its full value during the trial.
Returns
Returns are accepted only when explicitly offered and within the stated return window.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
- Original shipping, insurance, customs duties, taxes, and payment processing fees are non-refundable
- Returned instruments are subject to inspection
Charlotte Violins reserves the right to deduct costs for damage, wear, or depreciation.
Consigned Instruments
Unless explicitly stated in writing:
- Consigned instruments are sold as-is
- Consigned instrument sales are final
- Trials are not available for consigned instruments
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom or special-order instruments
- Accessories and consumables (strings, rosin, etc.)
- Instruments damaged during a trial
